Quick Question: What’s the Difference Between A Cook’s Tour and No Reservations?

I still have no idea what the difference is. I remember reading A Cook’s Tour in high school and realized that the show was being filmed simultaneously during the making of the book. And No Reservations is exactly like the book, which is A Cook’s Tour, so I’m confused. The Food Network is bringing repeats of A Cook’s Tour back this season…to compete with Anthony Bourdain’s own show on the Bravo network? So where does that leave Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern?

I’m glad that television networks realize that there’s a demographic for culinary-travel shows, though.
